SBSI Showcases Renovation Updates at Business After Hours Event

Last week, we hosted a "Business After Hours" networking event at our Saco branch, inviting business owners, customers and the community to join us for an evening of connection and celebration.

The event was held in partnership with the Biddeford + Saco Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a nonprofit committed to promoting commercial and industrial prosperity while also nurturing the civic, cultural and educational interests of the communities it serves.

As a longstanding chamber member and supporting sponsor, we were excited to unveil the completed renovations that had been planned before the pandemic—a project we knew would transform our bank.

Our team worked tirelessly to achieve significant milestones throughout this renovation. It was a collective journey marked by the discovery of ledgers, typewriters, stamps and additional artifacts that have since found new homes on display throughout the lobby.

The event was a resounding success, drawing close to 100 guests who enjoyed libations from Blaze Brewing Company and delectable eats from Red Door Market & Deli. 

We are proud to share our accomplishments and the rich history displayed within our walls, and incredibly thankful to all those who were able to attend. Your presence made the occasion truly memorable!
