On Wednesday, April 17, 2024:

We presented:  Money, Stress and Anxiety: How Financial Concerns Impact Mental Health.

With April being Financial Awareness Month, and May being Mental Health Awareness Month, we chose to bring to you 2 speakers for our inaugural event.  Rebecca Wing, LCPC from the Mindfulness Center of Maine, presented ideas on Recognizing and Coping with Financial Stress and Anxiety.  We also heard from our Retail Banking Manager, Joe Reardon, who presented techniques on Managing Your Financial Well Being.  Joe surprised us with a Bingo game, complete with prizes and all!

We also offered a spread from local artisans Red Door Deli to commemorate our first event in our series, and we gave away several raffle prizes.
