SBSI Calls on Community to Help Raise Funds for Yellow Tulip Project

The Yellow Tulip Project is making an incredible impact in the community, and we're eager to support their mission by raising funds for their initiatives!

Founded by Julia Hansen and her mother Suzanne in 2016, the Yellow Tulip Project (YTP) aims to raise awareness about mental health and remind everyone that they don't have to face their struggles alone.

Inspired by Julia's personal loss of two friends to suicide, YTP is dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental illness. With over 400 ambassadors, the project is active in 36 states and 5 countries, with plans for further expansion.

Through youth-driven efforts and innovative programs, YTP uses art, storytelling, and community events to foster hope and build supportive networks. The yellow tulip, symbolizing happiness and hope, serves as a powerful emblem of their commitment to change.

To help us raise money for this incredible organization, all you need to do is “like” our Facebook page!

For every new “like” our Saco & Biddeford Savings’ Facebook page receives from November 6th until December 2nd, we will donate money (up to $1,000 total!) to support the Yellow Tulip Project.

Share our post and spread the word to help us support this organization and those in need in our community: https://m.facebook.com/100063684364456/
