April is Financial Literacy Month, and we're celebrating with contests, giveaways and ideas for helping your young saver learn how to manage money. Here's what's going on:

Piggy Bank Beauty Contest
We're hosting a free Piggy Bank Beauty Contest with Mill Studio Arts on April 18. Decorate a piggy bank and enter to win in one of three categories: funniest, prettiest and most creative. The winner of each category will receive a Slugger Piggy Bank and $100 to start saving with.

Greenlight
Saco & Biddeford Savings customers can now get the debit card and money app for families through our partnership with Greenlight. The Greenlight app lets parents set chores for young savers so they can learn how to earn. Greenlight offers a debit card, chore list and automated allowance, with the option to connect payouts to chore progress.
